The United Way of Northwest Michigan offers a range of service opportunities that work for practically any schedule. Projects take place during the day, evenings, and weekends. With a broad selection of activities, convenient scheduling, and flexible commitment levels, the United Way of Northwest Michigan makes it easy for everyone to become involved in volunteering in their community.

Further, the United Way of Northwest Michigan partners with more than 300 nonprofit organizations throughout the region to provide volunteers a diverse array of impact areas, including: adult education and literacy, animal support, arts & culture, children and youth, community events, disaster relief, environmental protection and preservation, health and wellness, homelessness and hunger, renovation-revitalization-repair, and senior care.
